Merriam-webster defines masterpiece as a work done with extraordinary skill, especially a supreme intellectual or artistic achievement.
Did you grab that definition? You may have to read that again.
Now, imagine something that fits into that definition. Can you see it with your mind already? Great!
Other adjectives that describes masterpiece are; rough and splendid, authentic artistic, perfect and matchless, magnificently emotional, magnificent and effective, and the list is endless.
What image did you picture? (you can share that with me in the comments)
Here’s what came to my mind, YOU. Yes, you reading this piece and me too😊.
You are the masterpiece.
You are the masterpiece!
You know how I know? By the quote below.
“For we are God’s Masterpiece. He created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago” – Ephesians 2:10
Have you taken out time to check how the human body function? From all the systems that the human body is made of, to how these systems work together to allow for you to do what you do? Just the imagination alone gives me goose bumps. It is super amazing!

The creative community is growing so fast, science is blowing our minds with massive innovation (and when I mean “massive”, I’m not necessarily referring to the size but to it’s ability, jooget?), But the One who made the mind and put it in us deserves the accolade😊.
Look at you, a whole spec!
With all these imperfections?
Yes, You are still a spec!
Did you soon forget the adjectives that describes a masterpiece? that describes YOU too.
You are rough and splendid, imperfectly perfect, deliciously complex, fearfully and wonderfully made.
You are God’s greatest piece of art! That is a whole you.
You might want to ask, “But my life is not in shape yet and I still move back and forth”
Oh, you can still be a masterpiece and also a work in progress simultaneously.
“You are allowed to be both a masterpiece and a work in progress, simultaneously” – Sophia Bush
As you are a living Masterpiece, you are also an ever-evolving, ever-improving and ever growing work in progress. You are both a Masterpiece and a work in progress too.
So are your dreams, goals and visions. They are evolving and improving. At the beginning, they might not have crystallized yet, but in the doing, with the right exposure, you have a full grasp of it.
Keep evolving, keep growing, keep being a better version of yourself each day, don’t stop.
So, yes, you are allowed to be both a Masterpiece and a work in progress simultaneously.
